PHOTOS MUST BE OF THE ENTRANT AT THE AGE OF THE CLASS ENTERED
for example the photo must be of the horse/pony when they were under 6 months of age if entering foal under 6 months classes. The same horse/pony may be entered in each eligible age group as long as the photo represents the age group entered.
One side shot is required for all classes except head, costume & performance shots which may be from any angle. Photos must be free from ribbons and/or identifying images. If you have a photo with a ribbon etc it may be possible to have it removed so contact the AMR. If emailing photos, make sure the file isn't too large 1 MB or less please and send in JPEG format or similar. If photos are mailed and you would like them returned please include a stamped self addressed envelope.
All photos must be owned by the entrant or written permission for the use of the photo, by the photographer, must be included. No photos marked proof or copy allowed.
For best results, squat or kneel to take side shots so the camera is level with the centre of the barrel. Avoid taking photos that look down on your horse/pony or on an angle as this will distort them.
